Anyone out there interested in reviewing VR content? I urgently need HTC, Oculus, WMR, Daydream, Gear and Cardboard reviewers. If you interested than please hit me up. I’m thevrgrid on all social media. My goal for The VR Grid is to review any and all “pay for” VR content. I need the help and as I expand my site so to do I expand my workload. I’m busy working on the back end, trying to promote and make videos, so any and all assistance is appreciated. Below are a few of the finer notes for being a reviewer for my site, nothing to crazy.
-I can’t pay you. Â This site (and VR) is still in its early stages and I currently make no profit. Â The long term goal is for that to change, but for right now all the work is pro bono, but stick around and hopefully things will grow into something big. I do get review copies of games and share them with my reviewers so you get free games!
-I act as editor, but you will receive the full credit for any content you provide regardless of any changes I make.
-any content that you post belongs to me and can’t be posted anywhere else without my permission.
Sorry if that all sounds a little strict. I’m actually pretty laid back and because it’s free labour any reviewers on my site can basically post at their leisure. If I haven’t scared you off than please message me by commenting or just getting a hold of me through social media. I can answer any more of your questions or give you any other relevant info that I make up on the spot. I’ve been in the 3D graphics field for 30 years, developed several titles and working on others. I have several systems all with top performing graphics cards, along with Samsung Gear VR, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and several experimental or pre-release hardware devices. I have also written magazine articles and lectured at conferences.
It would be great to be a reviewer, I could supply articulate feedback and with a deep understanding of the technology I can critique on specifics less experienced people might not be able to offer.
I also run my own business, so my hours are flexible, and I’ve hoping to get back into doing writeups so the timing is great!
